This is a page set up within the Covid 19 pandemic, to update you on how services have changed and what to expect as services resume.
Massage Services Available:
At present, treatment services are limited. The treatments available are:
Indian Head Massage (excluding face)
Pregnancy Massage (please note: you will need verbal/written consent from GP or midwife for treatment due to Covid 19)
Meditation (online and face to face)
Treatments at present are limited to up to the hour.
Before Booking an Appointment:
You are to postpone your appointment and follow NHS guidance on Covid 19 if:
Either you or one of your household have symptoms of Covid 19 (fever, cough, loss of taste/smell)
Have been in contact with someone in the last 14 days with someone with Covid 19
Have been contacted by Test & Trace to alert you of being in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid 19.

It is advisable to get a verbal or written GP consent if you have or are:
Have a history of testing positive for Covid 19 (at any time)
If you were shielding due to conditions that made you clinically vulnerable due to Covid 19 (your doctor would have sent you a letter on this matter within lock down)
What to expect from treatment:
On the day of treatment, you will have your temperature taken with a forehead thermometer. If your temperature is above 37.8 degrees, a second reading will be taken. If your temperature is persistently above 37.8 degrees, treatment will be postponed and you will be referred to NHS guidance, or contact NHS 111.
You will be screened for Covid 19 as part of your consultation.
If Covid 19 is suspected, or you have been in contact with someone with Covid 19 in the last 14 days, treatment will be postponed.
Your details such as name and contact details, are kept for 21 days for Test & Trace Services, should they be needed.
Treatments are carried out with the therapist in PPE for your safety.
You will be asked to wear a mask. If there is a reason you are exempt from wearing a mask, or find it difficult to breathe in a mask, please let me know.

You will ask to wash or sanitize you hands before and after treatment
All equipment will be sanitized after every use
It is advisable that you shower after treatment.
