Yoga Classes

To give you the best out of your practice, I hold 2 regular classes. One is a gentler practice and works on the basics of Yoga and one that is more energetic or for improvers or at an intermediate level in their practice. I also offer 121 and small group practice on a home visit/mobile basis within the Tendring area.

Gentle/Yoga Basics:
Suitable for:
Beginning Yoga
Yoga practitioners to develop more understanding of the basic postures or practices
Aiding people with injury and want a gentler practice to aid recovery
People wanting a practice to complement their existing fitness regime in a restorative or rehabilitative aspect
Wanting to introduce the basics of relaxation and meditation

Wanting a Hatha based/gentle Vinyasa Yoga class

Yoga Flow/Vinyasa:
Suitable for:
For people wanting to develop a more energetic practice to improve flexibility, greater lung capacity and overall muscular strength.

Improving an existing Yoga practice
 For any person practicing a sport, fitness regime or pastime, where flexibility and overall muscular endurance is a fundamental part of their performance.
Wanting to deepen a practice of Yoga, with deeper understanding of it’s many aspects.

People wanting a Vinyasa style Yoga class

Venues & Times (Intermediate/Yoga FLow)

Thursdays 7.30 - 9pm - The Albert Edward Hall, Legerton Drive, Clacton On Sea CO16 8BW

1-2-1 or small group:
Suitable for people:
With specific conditions that want to develop a personal practice to benefit their needs and improve their quality of life
 Who desire a more intimate or smaller practice
 Who have an existing practice and want to work on developing specific practice i.e. asana or posture fundamentals, meditation or breathing techniques.
To complement a specific health, fitness or sporting discipline to develop on their sporting performance.

In both cases, class or 121, equipment is provided.  Please wear comfortable clothing (i.e. track suit bottoms and t shirt). This will enable you to gain full benefit from your Yoga practice.

NOTE:  On your first Yoga class, please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than scheduled, as you will be required to fill out a short health questionnaire, so I can have an understanding of any health issues you may have. This will enable me to tailor the class to your needs .
